Our Viticultural Story

Our viticultural story begins in 2011, while traveling in New Zealand. Inspired by the beauty of a vineyard on the shores of Waiheke Island, we decided to search for a special piece of land where we might create our own vineyard.

Following our retirements from the U.S. Navy and U.S. Foreign Service, we embraced a new mission: turning a cattle ranch into a thriving organic vineyard. In June 2018 we planted our first vines, and we now organically and sustainably farm 16 acres of wine grapes.
